Cardio Sculpt is a fun, fast-paced fitness class that combines cardio exercises with muscle sculpting exercises, including the use of weights and barbells. These fitness classes are designed to get your heart rate up and tone your muscles simultaneously, and usually, consist of several different exercise formats during each – which means there is never a dull moment!
We suggest you bring a mat to our Mira Mesa Cardio Sculpt classes which start with brief warm-up exercises that get your body ready to get moving, including stepping, lunging, stretching, reaching, and squeezing. Then, a series of higher intensity exercises are introduced, each working and toning a different muscle group. Various cardio exercises are mixed in throughout, making this one of the most versatile and exciting classes that we offer.
Muscle-Up is a fun, invigorating workout that utilizes barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands, body weight, and other tools to tone and strengthen all the major muscle groups and give you a total body workout. Similar to Cardio Sculpt, we advise you bring a mat to the class and the goal of Muscle-Up classes is to strengthen, tone, and build endurance. Each class is specifically choreographed to use the weight of the barbells and your own body weight to maximize your strength and define the muscles of your body.
Our Mira Mesa Muscle-Up classes start with a thorough warm-up and gradually progress into a higher-intensity, comprehensive body workout with sit ups, push-ups, step routines, lunges, dips, and other resistance routines using your own bodyweight. The class ends with various cardiovascular intervals, which are great for building endurance and stamina as you work out each muscle group.
We offer several Cardio Sculpt and Muscle-Up classes at our Mira Mesa fitness studios throughout the month. Each class is 60 minutes long and includes guided stretching sessions before and after.
