The unique structure of our Group Personal Training allows you to maximize the benefit of your program and take full advantage of our expert training staff. Each workout is designed to increase your functional strength, reduce injuries, and boost your metabolism. These sessions are conducted in a circuit format using various timed intervals. The Team Training times are predetermined and do not require an appointment. Participation is UNLIMITED! You can attend as many sessions as you like! Team Training is a perfect environment to meet other members in the gym. We begin each session with an introduction of any new clients and by having folks introduce themselves to each other before we begin. We then demonstrate and describe the workout before conducting the dynamic warm-up. stretch. Each session ends with a congratulations – high fives all around – and a foam roller stretch.
We offer three levels of team training, Foundations, Industrial Strength and Afterburn Metabolic Training, to assure that you receive the highest quality workout for YOUR specific training needs. These classes will be offered throughout the week at various times to accommodate your busy schedule.

Team Training Class Descriptions:
1. Foundations– Do you ever feel like you don’t know how to exercise correctly? Have you never really learned how to do the basic movements? Have you ever injured yourself when you started training? Maybe your back hurts or that nagging shoulder injury just won’t heal. Do you want to learn once and for all the most effective way to exercise?
When you build a house, you must first develop a solid foundation. This ensures that anything built on top of that foundation will be stable and long-lasting. In this sense, your body is like a house- you must build a good foundation of fitness before you can think of designing an effective program to help you reach your goals. Foundations will teach you the basic movements that you will need to master before you can move into our Afterburn circuits. It is essential that you learn these movements correctly so that you can advance to more challenging programming in the future. Foundations is not just for beginners! We have “retrained” countless clients on simple moves like push-ups, squats and lunges. Simple fact- if you are doing it right, you are going to see the results that you desire. If you are worried that you won’t be able to keep up in a class with people who have been working out, don’t be. Every single exercise at BFFC will challenge your functional strength regardless of whether you are a seasoned athlete or have never worked out. Each movement has a progression focusing on building stability, functional strength, and power.
2. Afterburn – AFTERBURN is our advanced group personal training option. This session is designed so your body will get stronger, your cardiovascular fitness will improve, you will burn more calories and see your body change like never before. It is focused on metabolic training using timed intervals, which is proven to be one of the most effective forms of training to enjoy benefits both during and after your workout. Your Coach will use tools such as kettlebells, suspension tools, medicine balls, ropes, and your own bodyweight as you move through a circuit format. The class derives its name from the lasting effects, the AFTERBURN, that enables you to burn fat long after your workout has concluded. The content of the AFTERBURN sessions will change weekly, keeping you energized and always looking forward to what Being Fit Fitness Centers has for you next. This workout will definitely shake things up and give you a full body workout, burn a ton of calories, and get your metabolism revving.
3. Industrial Strength – A basic, solid strength training option to our Team Training. Industrial Strength will be kept very simple and only implement the tools/exercises that we normally use in the Afterburn and Foundations programs. Industrial Strength will also be set up as a circuit with timed intervals. The circuit interval time will allow one to use a heavier weight and have adequate recovery time to increase strength. There are still differences between Industrial Strength and Semi Private Personal Training. Semi Private Personal Training will still involve a more coaching intensive environment and more scalability for injuries and modifications, etc.
WARNING: YOU STILL NEED STRENGTH TRAINING! Team Training is an awesome workout, but it needs to be done in addition to strength training, it does not replace it! Strength training is needed to maintain lean muscle, strengthen bones, maintain good posture, and many other things that Team Training will not adequately provide. If you need additional help with your strength training, upgrade to the Semi Private Training Performance membership to add 4 semi-private personal training sessions per month.
